It’s with the deepest of sympathies that I write in regards to the passing of Gord. I respected him immensely. 1) because he always gave more than he had and 2) because his family was the most important thing to him. Those 2 qualities by themselves warrant acknowledgment and admiration. Gord saw the good In people and the world is a lesser place without him. My utmost condolences to Joyce, Mel, Jay and Donnie.

Joyce & family, I’m so sorry to hear of Gord’s passing. I ran into him at the lab one day a year or so ago and he was his usual happy, smiling Gord. Very friendly, I remember him at Mag for many years and always helpful and thankful. RIP Gord, you were one of a kind.

Our condolences to the Inglis family. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Gord, no matter what shift he was on, he made it fun, he was a hard worker when the time came, but he made the shift go by easier by telling stories, jokes etc.
He said the fondest memories of his dad was going to wrestling matches in Strathroy or London back in the day. Obviously that's where his love for the WWF started.
RIP Gord

It was a sad day when I heard the news of Gord's passing. When I think of Gord, I always smile. I spent a number of years working with Gord and it was always a pleasure. He was friendly hardworking individual that you could always count on. Gord had a love for life and a heart of gold. I remember one day at work he was raving about Frenzies pizza in Sarnia. He asked Joyce to drive all the way to Sarnia so she could pick up a pizza for guys to enjoy at work one night. I think Joyce was always brining in treats for the guys. I was happy to see Gord was able to retire a number of years back and spend time with his family and more time watching Stone Cold.. He will be missed, he was a great guy

I was so saddened to hear about Uncle Gord passing. He was such a kind, generous happy man. I always remember him being a part of our family. Aunt Joyce and Uncle Gord married when I was 6 years old so he was part of my earliest memories. I can remember staying with Aunt Joyce and Uncle Gord when I was younger. I can remember going to the beach with them and my family, having BBQs together and many visits back and forth. Uncle Gord made everyone feel welcome and included. He was always joking and kidding around with everyone and had such a love for kids. He could make a conversation with anyone. When my dad had cancer I remember Uncle Gord taking my dad away for a few days to a cottage. My dad enjoyed that time. See my dad couldn't do much of anything at that point but Uncle Gord found a way for dad to be able to enjoy himself and make some cherished memories. My dad and Uncle Gord shared many good times over the years. My dad went home to heaven later that year in 2007 and now that Uncle Gord has been called home too I can picture them reminiscing together. They say that there's 2 important dates in our lives, the day we are born and the day we are called home but more important than the 2 dates is the dash in between those dates. Uncle Gord made that dash count. He touched many lives in big and small ways.He truly lived a life that was full...full of joy, full of laughter, full of happiness and full of love. Aunt Joyce, Donnie, Jason, Melissa I pray for strength and peace for you all. Cherish the love you shared and your beautiful memories until you meet again. Much love to you all. Carrie & Kevin and family

Very sad and sorry to hear of my friend Gord's passing. We knew, worked and lived close to each other for over 40 years. My favorite line from Gord was ' don't forget bug repellent when you go fishing, y'know the kind you drink." Please R.I.P.

I am saddened to hear of Gord's passing. He was a great man, full of positive energy, an amazing sense of humor and had the best stories to tell. He adored his children and wife Joyce beyond words can describe. I was fortunate enough to know Gord for many years and have many laughs with him. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
To my sweet friend Melissa, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how special your Dad was to you. I enjoyed all he would say when I would cut his hair. He would tell me how much he wanted you to have a baby before he was "old and drooling". I am so happy he got his wish. He would be the best Grandpa to his Grandchildren.
I am keeping Joyce, Melissa, Donny and Jason in my thoughts during this difficult time. You will all have so many wonderful memories of such a fantastic human.
You've earned your wings Gordon!

I’m so sorry to hear of Gord’s passing. Melissa and I were childhood friends and I have so many funny memories because of Gord. To the outfits he would pick up Melissa from school in to him taking us to go see Beavis and Butthead at the Strathroy movie theatre. This one time he and Melissa picked me up in his truck so I could hang out with Melissa. Unbeknownst to me a few days earlier a bag of milk had spilt on the passenger side floor of the truck and so it really smelled. So I get in and he uses this opportunity to tease me (lol) and says “Tammy it didn’t stink till you got in here, what did you do!” I kept saying it’s not me it’s not me and eventually I was let in on the joke when Melissa started laughing. Every time there is a smell in a vehicle it unlocks that memory. My deepest condolences to Joyce, Melissa, Jason and Donny.

I am so very sorry to hear this news. Melissa was in the first group of children I had in my home daycare. The very first thing that was crystal clear about Gord, he was a dedicated, intensely invested father and husband. Melissa was the apple of his eye and Joyce the love of his life. He literally beamed when he spoke of his boys. At the beginning and end of each day and throughout the nights this man was the very definition of family man. He will be missed, and he will live on with the loving family he nurtured, guided and loved. Joyce, Melissa, Jason and Donny I wish you peace and eventually joy in the memories you hold in your hearts.

To Joyce, Melissa & Donny (& families)
We are so sorry for your terrible loss. Gord was without a doubt, one of the most down to earth good guys.
The day I met Gord it was my first day at Magnesium Products. I will never forget how talking to him relieved my first day jitters instantly.
I also knew, from that first conversation, that Gord was a devoted Dad & husband. I even think we talked about the WWE too.(Lol)
Eventhough I lost touch with him after leaving Mag Products, when I heard he passed I can honestly tell you the news hit me rather hard.
There really arent too many authentic, happy &
fun loving guys like Gord, left in the world.
I feel blessed to have had him as a friend.
You are in our thoughts & prayers.
Theresa & Chris Adrian
