I have a tough time writing this and I wish I could be there with you all. Your Dad, grandpa, brother, and uncle will be missed. Rick lived with our family when my sister and I was young and we have many memories. He created a life long Detroit sports fan in me. His music taste got me listening to Van Halen. And since Rick was a teenager when he lived with us, he broke our parents in and made it easier for us as teenagers. You may have been my cousin but you were more like an older brother looking out for me. Rest in peace Rick. Sincerely, Kelly, Mark and David Matthews
