Karin, and family: So sorry to hear about Rick. He was a mentor. Included some pictures of his crew from 1981 and 1988. I still remember almost having a heart attack sitting with Rick in your living room having a beer when you're big cat jumped from it's tree and landed in my lap. Felt like it weighed 30 lbs! Rick laughed like hell. I think he knew it would do the jump.

Ok , Sit down for a minute! it all started on a cold March morning 1975 after a midnite shift at Stn. A We were playing cards at Rolly,s apt. a poster had come out from CPC looking for technical training interested employees , i felt i was not up to meet the grade but Rick insisted i apply and he and Rolly both were going to support me thru this journey . SO i did i was accepted !!!
A few days later Rick received his letter also he was REJECTED ....OH ,O ....after much to do , they finally acknowledged they had made an error and accepted Rick also , he then regretted the next 30 years ,as i held him to his promise he made that he would support me thru this journey ......lmao
through this journey i met one of the most compassionate , helpful ,willing to help others persons in my 45 year career as a tech.
we went through good times and sad times as a maintenance family , he was probably the 2nd most intelligent technician i have ever met , and i have met many , he still remains at the top of the list were he belongs. You are going to be Missed by many Rick .
Good bye Brother our Deepest sympathy to Karin ,all the Goods Family .....Linda & Brian Pearson

This is a photo taken back September 1977. Rick and I worked together for over 30 years, and through times of spats, challenges and friendships, we and the entire maintenance department became a family that always was there to help each other.
Reflecting back, Rick for one, made me a better technician, and a better person.

Although Rick would shake his head at the thought, he was one of the people that hired me into the Maintenance department at CPC. Rick was a talented technician that mentored a number of us in the field of electronics, computer technology and troubleshooting techniques. Rick also schooled and taught many of us - Euchre, Hearts and the fine art of making home brew. Rick was not one to shy away from a debate about ANY topic. We covered it all from NAFTA to programming the VIC-20 computer. The discussions and humerous banter had us all laughing in our department. My sincere condolences to Karin and family.

In all the years I worked at LMPP with Rick, he was always joking around, which helped make the shifts fly by. You will be missed by many. My thoughts are with his family.

Sure going to miss the "arguments" we had Rick. You and I could say just about anything to each other to get the other one "going". Goodbye my friend. Love Gerry
