Obituary of William Alcock

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Friday, February 27, 2009, William John (Bill) Alcock, formerly of Galt now residing in Thedford, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Martha (Kane) for 56 years. Loving father of Clifford (Cliff) and Janice of Nairn and Elaine Magowan and Ian of Caledonia. Proud grandpa of Kevin, Robert, Craig and Sean as well as great grandpa of Rowan. Dear brother of Millicent Sharp of Arthur and uncle of Carolyn Hendry of Conn. Predeceased by his nephew Rae Sharp(2007). Bill will be dearly missed by many family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at T. Stephenson & Son Funeral Home, Ailsa Craig on Monday from 6-9 p.m. where the Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 2p.m. with Rev. Greg Little officiating. Interment at a later date in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Galt, Ontario. In memory of Bill, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
