She was so full of life and love!
I know this from the days of my youth in the 80s, when every time I visited Nick and Fernando in Montreal North I was showered with welcome and food and animated discussions (in Italian, which I didn’t understand but it didn't matter, the feeling was there and clear).
Decades later it was just the same. I took this picture today to reflect on memories of being with Maria from two recent trips to London.
- My dog and I visited in 2010 and can't forget the way she kept joyously playing with and picking up and cuddling her.
- In the 2018 trip, I was surprised and touched with the beautiful hand-made knitted scarf shown - with a matching hat and slippers.
Maria, bless your soul and may you rest in peace. I shall always love you and remember you with many such fond memories.
And deepest condolences and best wishes to Nick, Fernando, the family, and everyone who knew her.
