Obituary of Vera Ross

At Craigwiel Gardens Nursing Home on Wednesday February 25, 2009, Vera Margaret Ross (Harding) of Ailsa Craig passed in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Moore Ross (1996). Loving mother of Frank Ross and Louise Parson of Port Franks, Ron Ross of Strathroy, Phyllis and Robert Maertens of Alymer, David and Judith Ross of East Williams Township, Gerry and Leslie-Anne Doxtator of Parkhill and Ian Campbell of Toronto. Dear mother-in-law of Joy Ross. Dearly loved grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Annie Harding as well as her sister Elsie (Aubrey) Stickney. Resting at T.Stephenshon & Son Funeral Home, Ailsa Craig on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Brad Sumner officiating. Interment to follow in Nairn Cemetery. In memory of Vera, donations may be made to the VON, Craigwiel Gardens or charity of choice. Vera will be remembered for her faith in God, her loving dedication to her family and friends and the gift of hospitality and enthusiasm for life.
