I am so sorry to hear of Clarence’s passing. I was fortunate to have met him and was even more fortunate to read a paper about his services over seas. I was always in awe of his spunk at the age of 90+ He was one in a million. Condolences to all that knew him and loved him. He will be missed.

Gary, Brian and families. It's a sad occasion but one filled with wonderful recollections of your dad. He taught me how to swim one noon hour at the Komoka gravel pits. He showed me how to spray black thread cutting oil on my brother using a pump oil can, and how to sing "we need beer" on aunt Florence Statham's lawn. These lessons and many more come flooding back to me.. Your dad closes an era of talented hard working tradesmen who successfully overcame a tough post war world. My father one time said to me as Clarence was leaving our shop "There's a man to model yourself after". I'll long remember Mitch for the great guy he was.
Sincere condolences to all his family

My dad, Ross, talked often about Mitch, and usually with a laugh. I remember Mitch sitting in our family kitchen, 'chewing the fat' as they would say. Rest at ease, sailor.
