Our sincere condolences to John, Amy, Johnny, Katie and all who called Barb "Grammy"! Barb was a very special cousin to me...we were the same age...I spent many summer holiday weeks at the Dixon home...sometimes getting into a little mischief together but enjoying our time together! I was "Carrot Top" to Uncle Bill and I always loved spending time with their whole family!
Barb and I reconnected later in life, with our "Cousin Weekends" for several years...and again as part of the "Amalgamation Family"...sharing childhood memories and a few secrets, and unfortunately, we even shared our mutual "Breast Cancer" journeys. Barb was a very caring soul and continued to reach out to us as we continued to walk our family health journey, even through her own.
Though the Miles and our own families may have kept us at a distance, we certainly shared our love of Angels and reached out when we knew we needed those Angels the most! I will miss you Barb....soar with "Eagle's Wings"...hug those special Angels when you reach them......."Just Cuz"!
