Obituary of Randy Mead

It is with heavy hearts the family of Randy Mead announces his passing on June 21st, 2022 after a determined fight against cancer. He was predeceased by loving parents Charles and Joyce (nee Johnstone). Loving father to Stephanie and Derek. Proud grandfather to Olivia. Dedicated brother to Charles (Mary), Brad (Robin), Susan (John) Pawlowski, Rick (Jenny) and Barbara Godden. He will be remembered by his nephews, Jeremy, Charles, Bret, Ricky, Randy, Jason and great-nephews Hilton and Bruce. Cherished cousin, nephew and friend to many. He will be missed by his co-workers at Trojan Technologies of London.

"J.R." was an avid motorcycle rider and a valued member of Chapter 77 (Ontario) of the Booze Fighters Motorcycle Club. Randy loved woodworking and was an avid musician.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Victoria Hospital, especially the Palliative Care Unit for treating Randy with care, dignity and respect.

A Visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on June 26, 2022 from 2-4p.m. and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will take place the following day on June 27, 2022 at 11:00a.m at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Strathroy Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to L’Arche London or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
