To Karen's family, I am so sorry to read that Karen has passed away. Your Mom was such a nice person and I always enjoyed her company when the neighbour ladies got together for lunch pre-covid. Sending our love & sympathy to all of you - especially Paula & Gordon!. From our first acquaintance in Winnipeg in 1975 with Larry & Karen, we became lifetime friends! Though we didn’t see so much of each other, we felt very connected to all of Karen’s family through regular phone chats which were usually long!! Karen’s unwavering faith in God through many years has been an inspiration to us. Her brave “ never give up” attitude, her uncomplaining attitude towards “Arthur” & her happy, cheerful spirit will be remembered. My sympathies to you and your families Gord and Paula. Your Mom was a wonderful person and when my sister Patty passed away in 2018 she reached out to me to offer support.
