Dear Family
My sincerest condolences on the passing of your lovely Dad, granddad and great-grandfather. My kind and gentle oom Ipe of which I have so many wonderful memories. He and tante Grace welcomed me into their home and their lives in 1997 at the beginning of my year of travelling/backpacking, and made me feel so at home. I saw them again in 2005 and had such a lovely visit with them. And of course the many times when I was lucky enough to see him on their/his visits to The Netherlands.
Always interested in everyone, always up for a joke, always with a smile and a supportive comment... One of the most gentle souls I've had the pleasure to know. He will live on in my beautiful memories of him.

Dear family overseas. Our deepest condoleances. Our thoughts are with you. Oom Ipe was a special man and we where allways happy when they came to visit us in Holland. Still regred the day when I was 16 and he suggested (while I was between schools ) that I should go home with them to Canada and stay and work on the farm for a while . Wish you all a lot of strength .
My deepest condolences to the family. Your father/Opa always had a kind word and wise thought to spare. I truly enjoyed our conversations over the years.
