It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Marjorie Matthews of Kerwood at the age of 80. Predeceased by her loving and devoted husband William Matthews (2018).  Loving mother of Jeff (Lynda) Matthews and Susan Matthews (George Lalich). Cherished Grammie to Jenna (Andrew), Katie, Roman, Matthew, Megan, and Emma. Sadly missed by her brothers and sisters Jack and Diane Joynt, Dan and Bonnie Joynt, Eleanor and Walter Huber, Pat and Larry Griffith and Carol and Dan Smith and sister-in-law Judy Dale. Remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John (1981) and Edythe (2002) and brother-in-law Bob Dale (2015).

Marj will always be remembered as a kind-hearted generous person who loved her family and friends dearly.  Her family was everything and they meant the world to her.

Friends will be received on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 1-5 PM at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY (519-245-1023), 32 Metcalfe St West, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, September 12th at 1 PM with Jennifer Langford officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations may be made to Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of one’s choice.
