Obituary of Robert Cowie

Peacefully at Chateau Gardens, Parkhill on Tuesday December 2, 2008. Robert Ross Cowie formerly of East Williams Twp. in his 96th year. Beloved husband ot the late Audrey Cowie (May 5,2008). Dear father of Kenn Higgs and his wife Jane of Sarnia and Rich Higgs and his wife Ann of Ottawa. Grampa will be deeply missed by grandchildren Todd, Tasha, Jennifer, Ryan and Matthew as well as seven great grandchildren. Predeceased by his brother John Cowie. Special thanks to all the wonderful staff at Chateau Gardens, Parkhill. Visitation will be held at T. Stephenson & Son Funeral Home, Ailsa Craig Ont. on Friday December 5th from 7:00pm to9:00pm Funeral service will be held Saturday December 6th at 11:00am with Rev. Larry Amiro officiating. Interment Nairn Cemetery. Donations in memory of Ross to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Ross
