Obituary of Leonard Head

Peacefully at the Parkwood Veterans Hospital in London on Wednesday, September 17, 2008. Leonard Pyott Head passed away at the age of 87. Len is survived by his wife of 67 years Christina Marie Head, his sons Bob (Freddie), Bill (Anne), and Leonard (Linda) Head, all living in St. Thomas. Loving grandfather of Jolene, Jenna, Fraser, Brittany and Jillian. Leonard will be fondly remembered by his brothers in England; Vernon, Wesley, and Charlie and George in New Zealand. A special thank you to all the staff at Parkwood Veterans Hospital for all the years of exceptional care. A private family visitation was held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home in Strathroy on September 18, 2008 with cremation following. A memorial service will be held Tuesday October 14, 2008 at 7 pm in the chapel at Parkwood Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkwood Veterans Hospital would be appreciated.
