Obituary of Alexander Hindmarsh

After a lengthy illness with cancer, Alexander Kevin Hindmarsh in his fifty-sixth year passed away on September 13th, 2008. He joins his brother and closest friend, Clive, as well as his father Douglas in the place of promise that our Saviour has prepared for all believers. Kevin served in the United States Navy as a young man. He also worked in the construction industry and became an accomplished carpenter and wood worker later in life. Kevin will be missed by his beloved mother Paulina, his sister Pat, brother James, sister-in-law Mary, nieces Laura and Sarah, nephews Michael, David and Douglas. There are several great nephews and one great niece.The family sincerely acknowledge and thanks the nursing staff at Strathroy Hospital on the fourth floor, for the compassionate and diligent care they provided to Kevin and his family during his stay there. Visitation from 5-7pm and a Memorial service will follow at T. Stephenson Funeral Home in Ailsa Craig on Tuesday evening September 16. Pastor Doug Loveday from the Granton Community Bible Church will preside over the services. Friends and family are invited to the family home after the memorial for refreshments. Private interment will occur at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memoriaum for Kevin to Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation are very appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Alexander .
