Obituary of Joan Bruyn

Suddenly, but peacefully, surrounded by her family, in Sarnia, Ontario on Saturday, August 23, 2008. Joan de Bruyn, age 75, of Adelaide Village. Beloved wife of Adrian de Bruyn. Loving mother and grandmother of John and Robin de Bruyn and Marc and AJ, Harry de Bruyn and Jake, Adrian and Josh, Jim and Lisa de Bruyn and Mike and Brad, Kathy Peto (Dan Peto 2008) and Matt and Holly, and Nancy de Bruyn and Jim Fowler. Also survived by 11 sisters and 1 brother in Holland and Belgium. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Monday, August 25 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 26 at 10 AM with Fr. Lucio Couto officiating. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. Parish prayers will be held at 6:30 on Monday followed by CWL prayers. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or your charity of choice would be appreciated.
