I was so very sad to hear this news and I’m sure many of us are trying to process it. I have so many cherished memories of our childhood together. We grew up across the street from each other, went to grade school and high school together. Saturdays we would go to the corner at Lakeshore and Murphy, buy our penny candy and rush back to her house to watch Sir Graves Ghastly and then figure skating. Her mom would often make us Cream of Chicken Soup for lunch, which I loved cause she used real milk. I remember we would go to the Bookmobile on the corner and then share French fries with gravy from KFC. So many sleepovers when we would talk and giggle till late into the night. Picking vegetables with her and her Dad and wiping carrots on my jeans and eating them right there. They were the best. I remember us comparing blisters after the many walkathons we would do together. And hide and seek with the rest of the neighborhood kids. It was a good childhood with wonderful memories. Sue gave me the great honor of being her Maid of Honour and although we had drifted apart through the years, she always had and has a place in my heart. Dear Joe, Henny and Carl, you and your families are in my prayers. I wish you strength and always hang on to God’s promise that we will see each other again. Love Linda Kindrachuk(Vanderhulst)

I will always think of Sue on Christmas Eve. We shared a fun moment when I went to light her candle in the dark for the singing of Silent Night and my main candle went out as I tried to light her candle.
