Obituary of Nelson Freitas

Nelson Freitas passed away peacefully on June 15, 2023, in his 62^nd year, with “his girls” Bernie and Lucy by his side. Loving brother of Lucy Pinheiro and Bernadette Johnstone. Uncle to Jordan, Megan and Cale. Predeceased by his parents Ernesto and Otilia Freitas. He will be fondly remembered by his friends Kenny, Roger, Matt, John and many extended family members. A very special thank you to Bea for her persistence and dedication to Nelsons wishes.

Nelson was a gentle giant, he had a kind soul. He loved to make jokes and watch his family and friends smile and laugh. Nelson was at peace knowing he had the support of “his girls”.

A Visitation will take place on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 5:00-7:00pm at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. Donations to the future Strathroy Hospice, payable to Chiros Care Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
