Obituary of Monica Clark

Monica Clark (nee Olsen)  September 11, 1952 - June 25, 2023

Monica passed away suddenly, while on vacation in Manchester, UK on June 25, 2023 at the age of 70.  

Beloved sister to Sylvia Christensen and Eric (Lori) Olsen. Devoted aunt to Sonja Christensen, Heidi (Scott) Christensen, Shannon Adams and Zachary (Anne) Olsen.  Fondly remembered by great nephews Connor, Elliott and Anders. 

Monica is predeceased by her mother & father, Hanni and Willy Olsen and her brother-in-law, Kim Christensen. 

Monica felt life deeply.  She showed immense love for her family and extended that love to a circle of friends, made throughout her life.  She was a remarkable soul who showed generous empathy and compassion to her PSW clients and their families.  Monica’s heart held special space for all her pets, fish, birds, cats & dogs, many rescued and all well-loved.  She will be missed by sweet Fita, her Mexican rescue dog who will continue to be loved by Monica’s nephew Zachary and his partner Anne. 

Monica’s family invites all to celebrate her life at an open house 1-3 pm Sunday, July 23 at The Duke on Sydenham 51 Front St E, Strathroy. (Located at the rear of the Shops on Sydenham. Enter off Head St)

The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Alex Parker Nurse Sophie and the staff in the Adult ICU at Manchester Royal Infirmary for their exceptional compassion and care, as well as Karen and Rita from Kemptville Travel for their extraordinary assistance.
