Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, surrounded by his family and friends, on Sunday, June 29, 2008. Jose Vieira de Melo of Strathroy in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Luisa Melo. Dear father of Aurelio (Carroll) Melo, Elda Melo (John O'Keefe) and Aurelia (Carlos) Almeida. Dear Avo of Jennelle, Emily, Amanda, Victoria, Nathan, Catherine and Isabella. Predeceased by his daughter Rosa Maria and his brother Luis de Melo. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Wednesday, July 2 at 11 AM with Fr. Lucio Couto officiating. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. Donations to the Strathroy Hospital Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
