It is with great sadness and heavy hearts the family of Frank Muylaert announces his sudden passing, on November 5, 2023. He passed in the comfort of his home, at the age of 75. Very proud dad of Lisa (David) Maynard and Dean (Sara) Muylaert. Devoted grandpa of Alyssa and A.J. Muylaert. Frank was the brother of John (Kim) Muylaert, Charlie (Janice) Muylaert and Diana Muylaert. Predeceased by his special friend Peggy Barclay (2021). Predeceased by his siblings Victor Muylaert, Gayle Vanderbeeten and Brian Muylaert. Also survived by his sister-in-law Betty Muylaert. Frank will be remembered by Janet Muylaert. He will be sadly missed and always remembered by his extended family and many friends.

Frank was born and raised in Strathroy and became an integral part of the community. He was a millwright, heavy equipment operator and truck driver. Frank was involved in the startup of Strathroy Foods, building the facility for which he was very dedicated and proud to have been a part of.  He was involved with Junior B Hockey being equipment manager for many years. 

Frank lived his life on his own terms.  He loved playing cards, going on crop tours and dropping in for visits with friends and family.  Family was his pride and joy; he enjoyed spending time together.  He loved to head south for the winter and spend time with his friends in Florida and the congregation at the Pine Church.  He always made sure to tell his kids and grandkids how proud he was of them.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Frank’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 15^th, 2023, from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY in the Caradoc Room. Words of Remembrance will be shared at 5:30pm.
