Obituary of Florence Humphries

Peacefully at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy on Tuesday, May 27, 2008. Florence Marie Humphries (nee Watcher) of Strathroy in her 88th year. Dear mother of Larry Humphries (Karen) and Mary Anne Dunn (Robert) all of Strathroy. Loving grandmother of Mike Dunn, David Dunn, Paula Cadenhead, Gordon Humphries and Debbie Riley, great-grandmother of Jessie and Jake Dunn and Ryan and Andrew Cadenhead. Also survived by her brother Fred Watcher (Voda), sister Helen Parker (Allen ), sister-in-law Eva Harris and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Earl (1984), sister-in-law Ann Rogers and brothers-in-law Fred Rogers and Alex Harris. Marie was an avid golfer, curler and boater and enjoyed fishing. Visitation will be held at Denning Brothers Funeral Home on Friday, May 30th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where a complete funeral will take place on Saturday, May 31 at 11 AM with Rev. Charles Seed officiating. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Strathmere Lodge Auxiliary Memorial Fund would be appreciated by the family.
