Obituary of Eric Alexander Mark Samworth

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Eric Samworth, or “Big E” as most know him by, on February 28, 2024, at the age of 42. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Eric battled cancer, fighting hard for over the past year.  A man with a great positive attitude, Eric was very family oriented and the best friend anyone could ask for.  Besides loving his family and friends, Eric had a passion for cars, fishing, concerts, the outdoors, sports and was always down for a good party. He was a dedicated employee of Gray Ridge Eggs/Graybrook Farms, who have offered their unwavering support throughout his sickness. Eric was predeceased by his father, Richard Dickinson, and his grandparents. Survived by his mother, Peggy and stepfather, Lobo, brothers, Jayson and Ricky, sisters Katie and Alex, his loving wife Lindsay, his children Harylnn (7) and Daxson (6), step son Michael, his brothers and sisters in law, his father in law Larry Hardy and partner Lilian Adviento.

The family would like to thank all the health care providers who assisted with his treatment for their compassion over the last few months.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, at which time family and friends will be notified.
