My sincere condolences to the Craenen family. Gil was a true gentlemen who I had the pleasure of singing bass with in the Strathroy Vocal Federation. We had many discussions on our love of music, the old tunes and family. He was a true friend.

Mr. Craenen was my first soccer coach in Strathroy when I was thirteen, he was excellent! Then, when I turned 16, him and Diny gave me my first job at the Treasure House, I loved it, they were a great team, and to this day they have never been too far from my memory. To the family, my condolences, your mom and dad both made a difference in my life, and I still think of them often, and I’m 50 years old now.

We are so sorry for your loss.
I know your entire family kept up with regular visits to Gil, even after dementia started to set in.
I can't imagine how hard that must have been.
I do know the bittersweet feelings you are feeling now, but you are all taking comfort knowing that Gil is once again by (the love of his life)Diny's side.
That & the arrival (shortly) of a new family member, should help everyone focus on the future. Both Diny & Gil are just fine now.
Please forgive the length of my message. I am sure I could have edited it down. It's just I wanted to be sure to say everything I would say to you in person.
Very sincerely yours,
Chris & Theresa Adrian.
