So sorry Kathy and John and family for the loss of your father/father-in-law and grandfather....Deepest sympathy to all of you...I remember Dal and Milt at Canadian Tire in Exeter... I have a small trailer withe your Grandpa's name on from the store...hang on tight to all the beautiful memories..love and hugs to you.
Sorry to learn of Dal’s passing, remember him and his father at the old Canadian Tire Store in Exeter and his small motor repair shop at the north end. Lost track of him over the years, knew Jeff when he worked at Tasty New bakery in Zurich.

We have known Dal for near 30 years having met by chance in a southern Florida boon dock camp when I stopped to ask about his home built truck topper . We eventually became very good friends and enjoyed many visits and adventures in the US and Canada together .I recall chats about cars ,motor cycles ,scooters ,campers and travels,we spent many hours discussing pro,s and cons about all of those
While Jean was recovering from a surgery I respond to a knock on our door to find Dal,Liz,Bob and Marilyn who came to cheer her up! That was a 375 kilometer drive one way ! That was a heart warming visit indeed ,but that was Dal just a good guy doing what was natural to him.
We will miss visiting Dal but his memory will live forever in our hearts
