Sincere condolences to Brenda, Dean and family in the passing of your Mom. Alma was a wonderful neighbor to my parents and I enjoyed many visits with her as a youngster and teen. My sincere sympathy to Alma's family on her passing. I was blessed to have some memorable visits with Alma in the past year. She spoke of many fond memories when she was young and of how the times have changed. Alma liked to sing. She would say her voice sounded like an old croaking frog but when she started to sing the frog left and a beautiful sound came ringing forth. Alma liked to sing praises to her Savior and regular songs from her time. One of her favorite songs was recorded Aug.13, 1924 and was released in 1930 and quickly became a classic. I can still hear her singing, "If I had the wings of an Angel..........." I shall never forget you, Alma. "You Are My Sunshine" was the last song we sang together with Susan. I hope one day we meet again. Love Catherine
