It is with heavy hearts the family of Mario Picanco announces his passing on August 20^th, 2024 at the age of 65. Loving father of Pamela Picanco Henshaw (Jamie) and Amanda (Nathon) Sibley. Proud Avo of Ella, Bentley, Aria, Ace and Ari. Partner of Maria Yates. He will be missed by his sister Maria (Eduino) Silva. Predeceased by his parents Manuel and Dionisia Picanco. Mario will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.

Mario immigrated to Canada in the year 1973 at the age of 14. Mario was a jack of all trades, he was proud to create his own business Gardener Homes, which he ran for over 20 years. He loved to be outside, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and gardening. Mario loved spending time with his grandchildren, and he adored watching them grow. Mario will be missed by all who knew him.

A visitation will take place on Friday, August 23^rd, 2024 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following day Saturday, August 24^th, 2024 at 10:00am at ALL SAINTS ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH.
