Hazel was born and raised on the Newcombe farm at Mull and later moved to the Shamblaw farm in Kerwood in 1953 when she and Max were married. She loved to garden and preserve food – quilting was a favorite winter project. We have fonds memories of Mom and Grandma in her kitchen, the heart of the home.
