Sorry to hear of your loss Marilyn and Burton. I remember fondly of what a tease Rob was at Bethel. He had a great sense of humour and so the teasing went back and forth. Fond memories of working in the kitchen with Rob. May God comfort you in our time of grieving.

I have known Rob since the 70s when as a young person I recall him being polite and considerate of others. Like opening a door and then holding it open for you as you passed by. Our sincere sympathy to Marilyn and Burt, Laurie and Paul, Lincoln and Meagan, Sarah and Jon and your families. Robb was always thoughtful, kind and genuinely interested in others. On of my fondest memories of Robb was a time when he was talked into coming to a college and career weekend. We had a lot of fun and a lot of laughs. Robert was a nice man and a table mate of my dad Bubba at Sprucedale before he passed on the 1st of November. He asked me couple days before how my dad was doing. Was very thoughtful. Hard to believe some 40 years has passed since this "knee high to a grasshopper" young blonde kid used to follow you around on the farm. My fondest memories were on the farm, with my coveralls on getting dirty in the barn, on tractors , combines, dirt bikes, snowmobiles or go karts. Whether cutting grass on the green Roper, Melbourne stocker sales, painting the driveshed or playing croquet,you were always there as a positive role model. You supported me every step of my sporting journey, and created the happiest memories a nephew could ever hope for. A special mention to my relentless desire to use the PACKER as a field car with Timmy Cann at Gideon Greens. You were reluctant & always looking out for my best interest, and I thank you for providing me with the opportunities for adventure. From this "Lad" otherwise known as "Dinger" to you UNK, I will miss our croakanole games, Leafs-Habs rivalries, Mars bars, popcorn balls, burgers & fries and creamsicles under the shade tree. Love you forever UR and miss you already XOXO. A Heavenly Hug to Farmer Nana & Gramps for me.
