Seeing Murrary & his boys teaching our community to skate was something you could see he held a lot of pride in. I saw Murray and his boys in the grocery store one day and thanked them for teaching our community about hockey and how to skate. I have some videos where you can hear Murray instructing the little guys on the ice, including mine. Thank you for sharing him with us every Saturday morning and our family is so sorry for your loss. He was one of the good ones.

Sandy and all the family;
So sad that Murray has left us so soon. I worked with Murray for many years, he was a close friend, and a golf buddy for many years as well. I will miss our tee times every Thursday but most of all I will miss our conversations after golf. Murray was one of the best souls I have ever had the pleasure to call my friend. He spoke endlessly of his family. How proud he was of all of you!
He always asked about my family, which is a true characteristic of a good person.
Rest in peace Murray.
Hit them straight Murray,

To Murray's family - please accept our condolences during this time of great loss. We remember 'Coach Murray' as being instrumental to getting all of our boys on the ice and moving, despite lots of protest and tears. His warm encouragement was much appreciated by players and parents alike. His legacy lives on in the terrific U5 program that has evolved from his vision and leadership all those years ago. Rest in peace Murray - you will not be forgotten!

Sandy and family,
Our heartfelt condolences to you and your family. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
I always enjoyed playing hockey with Murray on Thursday nights in Mooretown with the Research Group. Even though Murray lived in Strathroy he didn't miss many games. And we always had a good time during our social time in the dressing room after our game.
