After a short, courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness and broken hearts the family of Kevin Futcher announces his passing on December 12^th, 2024, with his loving wife, Debbie (nee MacKichan), of 35 cherished years, at the age of 62. Proud dad of Andrew and Amanda. Kevin is survived by his siblings Karen (Rob), Robin (Brent), Anne (John), and Robie (Rosa). Predeceased by his parents Al and Kate Futcher. Kevin is also survived by his mother and father-in-law John and Shirley MacKichan, and his brother-in-law Jim. Kevin will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends throughout the community.

Kevin was a dedicated Lion’s Member in the Melbourne Lion’s. Kevin was a coffee lover, specifically his love of Tim’s.

Kevin’s family wishes to extend their special thanks and gratitude to the staff at Verspeeten Family Cancer Care and the staff at LHSC-Victoria for their compassion and care.

At this time, no formal ceremony will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
