My deepest condolences to the whole family I spent many of my teenage years at ida and franks house she was such a caring lady and strong woman I have nothing but the greatest respect for her I recently had visited with her at Babcock and she hadn’t changed a bit and all she ever spoke about was her children and grandchildren and her face was lit up with joy as she spoke of then she was an amazing lady that I will never forget and I’m sure there are many more who feel this way you will be missed

I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Ida during her time at Babcocks. I speak for all workers there when I say what a pleasure she was, and the home feels a huge loss without her.

I am so sorry to hear of great Aunt Ada's passing. Although I havent seen her since I was a child, I still remember how sweet and kind she was when we visited, and my Nan Violet always spoke of her with such love. Sending lots of care to all who miss her.

I worked with Ida many moons ago at the factory. I remember her being rather larger than life (in a great way). She wore red lipstick and makeup and was so proud of her boys. I see she also has a daughter but I’m pretty sure when I worked with her, she just had boys.
My condolences to her family. She live a big and beautiful life and leaves other big and beautiful lives after her.

The very best neighbour we could ever have and Ida was indeed like an extra mom to me. Cannot express my thankfulness enough for having known her, and maybe the odd time getting a word to the wise from her. I grew up the better from it.
