Obituary of Wayne Charles Nichols
Nichols, Wayne Charles
It is with sadness, the family of Wayne Charles Nichols announces his peaceful passing on December 16th, 2024 surrounded by his family. Wayne was the proud and loving dad of Tyler “capoodle”, Maggie “princess”, Zach “bubby bubster”, and Jack “Jackie D”. Wayne was the dear brother of Jo-Anne “Jo” Symington, William “Billy Bob” (Tammy) Nichols, and Tim “UT” (Corry) Nichols.
Wayne was predeceased by his parents Orland and Phyllis Nichols. Wayne will be missed by his mother-in-law Nancy “mom” Payne, brother-in-law Scott “scooter” Payne, sister-in-law Cindy “Jeremiah” Payne, and his many nieces and nephews.
Wayne was a leader among leaders not only at work but also in his family life. He used his sarcasm, high volume and contagious laugh to create and mold a high-performance and loving environment for the family that he lead at work and at home. People always took notice of Wayne and was always well-respected and well-loved by everyone. If you didn't like Wayne we knew it was probably a you problem. He made new employees and new family members always feel welcomed and loved even when he would center them out. His love and passion for the food industry was beyond comprehension. From the early days of the Christmas banquets to cruise ships to saving pennies on an order of fries for Compass Group Canada. “ FOOD COST, BABY, FOOD COST”. If you thought that his love for food was beyond comprehension his love for his family and friends was much greater. He would always make time for everyone and everything, and would never pass up the opportunity to have a manhattan in the crown club.
He gave his entire life to his family.
