Obituary of Barbara Jean Bach

Barbara Jean Bach (1936-2025)

Peacefully, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Barbara Jean (Jones) Bach passed away on January 10th, 2025, at the age of 88.

Barbara was the cherished wife of the late Walter Bach (2006). She met the love of her life while working at Strathroy Furniture. Walter walked straight down the assembly line, focused solely on Barbara, and kissed her—thus beginning their beautiful journey together.

Barbara was blessed with many lifelong friends and was happiest when surrounded by her family and loved ones. Her passion for golf kept her active until her late 70s, when declining health took her off of the green. She also enjoyed crafting, sewing, and baking, sharing these hobbies with friends and family. Barbara took great pride in her beautiful gardens.

She was a loving mother to Joseph (Kim), Leon (Marilyn), and Heather Aszalos (Michael). Barbara was predeceased by her son Paul Bach (2018). She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and a great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren. Barbara will be deeply missed by her extended family and friends.
