Obituary of Lois Taylor

At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Friday, February 22, 2008. Lois Evelyn (McNeil) Taylor of Strathroy, born in Metcalfe Twp. on July 31st, 1924. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Daniel Taylor (1997). Dear sister-in-law of Margaret (Taylor) and Bill Jordan of Kerwood, Grace (Taylor) Glithero of Strathroy, Kathleen Taylor of Strathroy, Helen Taylor of Strathroy and Lillian McNeil of Thamesford. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John A. and Sarah Belle (Gates) McNeil, sister Jessica (McNeil) Cruickshank, brothers Bruce and Hector McNeil, Brothers-in-law; Clayton, Grant and Donald Taylor, Ben Glithero, Raymond Cruickshank, sister-in-law Florence McNeil and loving nephews; John Ray Cruickshank, Ian McNeil, Barry McNeil, Robert Angus McNeil, Stewart McNeil and Leonard McNeil. Lois was a life member of the Napier Women's Institute and honourary life member of the Women's Missionary Society. Resting at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Sunday, February 24 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where a funeral service will be held on Monday, February 25 at 1:30 PM with Rev. Charles Seed officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. A Women's Institute Memorial Service was held Sunday at 1:45 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church (Strathroy or Napier) or your charity of choice would be appreciated.
