Obituary of Vivian Scott

Peacefully on Monday, February 4, 2008 at London Health Science Centre, Victoria Hospital, Vivian Elizabeth Scott (nee Dawe) of London went to be with her wonderful Lord and Saviour in her 83rd year. Dearly beloved wife of George Scott for 65 years. Loving and devoted mother of Phyllis Zabudsky (Paul) of Clarington, Sharon Brooking (Neilson) of Brampton, Marilyn Delaney (Tom) of Komoka and Carol Bartlett (Brian) of Kitchener. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Jason, Marc (Kristine), Adam (Jill), Aaron, Tom, Coleman, Brandon, Chris, Allison, Alicia, Mike and Kinsley. Survived by her sister, Hazel Shaw (Basil) of Red Deer, Alberta and brother, Reuben Dawe (Helen) of Orillia. Predeceased by sisters, Mae Petch, Minnie Ousdahl, Leona Lawlor, Irene Trimble, Alice Henderson and Phyllis Robertson and brothers, William, Walter, Norris and Everett Dawe. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the CCTC nurses and doctors for their wonderful care and compassion. A private family funeral was held with Dr. Ed Fontaine and Rev. Roger Gast officiating at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home in Strathroy on Wednesday, February 6 at 1 pm. Burial followed at the Strathroy Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, 264 Princess St., Strathroy ON N7G 2S7 on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 1:00 pm. Donations to the Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
