At home, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, September 25, 2007. Martin Van Geffen Jr. of RR5 Strathroy in his 58th year. Beloved husband of Rita Van Geffen (Van Straaten). Loving father of Junior and Karen Van Geffen, Ricardo Van Geffen, Julie and Tom Rieg, Greg and Sarah Van Geffen, Paulo Van Geffen and Ana Van Geffen and Pops of Emma, Markus and Krista Rieg. Dear brother of Joanne Royackers, Grada and Tom Vlemmix, Gerdie and Murray Beaudoin, Jane and Lambert Van Der Kant, Frank and Agnes Van Geffen, Norio and Ed Vanderheyden, John and Elsie Van Geffen and Leo and Katie Van Geffen. Brother-in-law of Corry and Mary Van Straaten, Linda and Murray Wagg, Betty and John Crowley, Bill and Annie Van Straaten, John and Cathy Van Straaten. Son-in-law of Marie Van Straaten. Predeceased by his parents; Martin and Helen Van Geffen, Sister; Ann Lalich, Brothers-in-law; Albert Royackers, George Lalich and Nicholas Van Straaten and father-in-law; John Van Straaten. Prayers will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Thursday, September 27 at 8 PM where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 28 at 11 AM with Fr. Ronald Trojcak officiating. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Strathroy Hospital Foundation or Jamaica Mission - Canadian Jesuits International would be appreciated. There is no visitation.
