Obituary of Virgilio Silva

Peacefully at Strathroy Hospital on Monday, September 3, 2007, Virgilio Da Silva in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Adelina (Bettencourt) and loving father of Maria & Carlos Vieira of London, Maria & John Therrien of Strathroy and Manuel & Lynn Da Silva of London. Proud and loving grandfather of Jennifer (Charlie), Jim, Diane (Charlie), Mark (Celeste), Derrick (Denise), and Andrea. Adored by his great grandchildren Madison & Cameron Oliveira. He will be sadly missed by 2 sisters in law and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters in the Acores. Friends will be received by the family at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W, on Wednesday from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Wednesday at 8:30p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at 11 a.m in All Saints Roman Catholic Church with Father Michael Kiszko as celebrant. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. Donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged.
