Obituary of James Strachan

At the London Health Sciences Centre (Victoria Campus) on Tuesday, April 25, 2007. James (Jimmy) Ernest Strachan of Strathroy in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Jackie (Darlow) (Rousch) Strachan of Strathroy. Dear father of Mike Rousch and Pam and Fred Van Bavel. Loving and wise Papa of Megan and Brent. Also survived by his sister Joan Botting and her husband Gerry of Prescott and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Tom and Jake and sisters Mary, Alma, Doris and Catherine. Jimmy loved the game of hockey and was involved in local hockey for most of his life. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Friday, April 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Saturday, April 28 at 10 AM with Fr. Michael Kiszko officiating. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
