Obituary of Douglas Moffat

At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital. On Friday, April 13th, 2007. Douglas William Moffat, of Strathroy in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Violet (Collins) Moffat of Strathroy and dear father of Thomas (Peggy) Moffat of London, Susan (Chuck) Pinkerton of Strathroy and Judy Micks of London. Loving grandfather of Douglas (Meredith) Moffat of Montreal and Jennifer Moffat of London. Great-grandfather of Jacob. Also survived by a sister Marg Hammond (Perrin). Predeceased by his parents John and Mildred E Moffat and a brother John Moffat and a sister Olga Burrell and a son-in-law Allan Micks. Funeral service will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W., Strathroy on Monday, April 16th, 2007 at 2 pm. Pastor Roger Gast officiating. Visitation will be held prior to service from 1 pm. Private family interment in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
