At Strathroy Hospital on Sunday, July 31, 2005. Maria da Conceicao Medeiros of Strathroy, born November 2, 1931 in Sao Miguel, Acores. Beloved wife of the late Antonio Medeiros (2001). Dear mother of Lucia Martins (Mariano) and John Medeiros (Darlene). Loving grand mother of Victor Martins (Suzette), Nancy Martins, Daniel Medeiros and Amanda Medeiros and greatgrandmother of Brian and Kristen Martins. Sister of Honorina Furtado and Marcelina Sousa both of Strathroy. Also survived by her nephews Fernando Sousa, John Furtado and Nellie Alves Pettite. Predeceased by her parents Jose de Melo Alves and Angelina Medeiros and her brother Manuel Melo Alves (1999) of Rhode Island, Mass. Visitation at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Tuesday, August 2 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Wednesday, August 3 at 11AM with Fr. Liuz Carlos Pinheiro officiating. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 7:30 PM.
