Obituary of Robert Sumner

Suddenly at home on Friday, December 24th, 2004. James Robert (Bob) Sumner, in his 83rd year. Cherished husband of Frances for 57 years. Dear Father of Alec Sumner and his wife Tina. Predeceased by his son Wayne Robert (1976). Dear Brother of Marion Davis and John Sumner. Predeceased by his sister Margaret Smithrim (1994) and his brother Don Sumner (1973). Brother-in-law of Mac Smithrim and Evelyn Stead. Loving Grampa of Greg, Brad and Meagan, Mark and Natasha, Vicki and Jeff and Great-Grampa to Reuben, Emma and Micah. Dearly missed by Albert and Carrie DeSmit. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy (519-245-1023). Cremation has taken place. No visitation. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 31st, at 1:00 p.m. at the Cairngorm United Church with Rev. Mike Perreault officiating. Interment at Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
