At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Tuesday, March 9, 2004. Dmytro Baran of Melbourne in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Maria (Steranka) Baran. Dear father of Alex and Elizabeth Baran of Melbourne, Linda of Strathroy and Michael Baran (deceased 2002). Loving grandfather of Alexander, Tania, Dimitrius, Vanessa, Stephen, Matthew, Daniel and Alicia. Greatgrandfather of Julian, Tatyanna, Joseph and Bradley. Predeceased by granddaughters Natasha and Anna Baran (1979), brother Ilia (1957), mother and father in-law Maria (2000) and Michael (1976) Steranka and brother-in-law Ludwik Steranka (2003). Visitation at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Thursday, March 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where funeral service will be held on Friday, March 12 at 11 AM with Father Edward Yarema officiating. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Thursday at 7:30 PM.
