Obituary of Dorothy Walter

After a brief illness, Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Thursday December 13, 2012. Dorothy H. Walter (Schnurr) of Strathroy two weeks short of her 80th birthday. Loving mother of Arlene Forsythe (Jim), Paul Walter (Friend, Nancy) , Patti Kettlewell (Danny), Dennis Walter (Dianne), Nancy Ladell (Mark) Mary-Lou Walter-Watts (Fred), Jeff Walter and daughter in law Kaye. Grandmother to Ryan, Nathan, Shaun, Pam, Robyn, Jenna, Nick and Brooke as well as a great granddaughter Caroline. Dorothy is survived by a sister Anne-Marie Thorn (Larry). Predeceased by a sister Florence Walter and her brother Lloyd Schnurr. Visitation will be held at DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME LTD., 32 Metcalfe St W. Strathroy ON. N7G1M6 on Monday December 17, 2012 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday December 18, 2012 at 11:00 am with Father Lucio Couto, Celebrant. Cremation to follow service. Parish Prayers to held at the funeral home Monday at 6:30 PM. Donations in memory of Dorothy to the Lung Association, Crohn's and Colitis Foundation or Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
