Obituary of Lewis McGuire

September 24, 1935 - January 05, 2013. It is with grave sadness we announce the passing of Lewis (Lew) McGuire at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital and a resident of Sprucedale Care Centre. Lewis is lovingly remembered by his wife Lois (Thornicroft) McGuire, son ,Robert and daughter, Patricia (Hathaway) (Paul Charlton). Devoted grandfather to Jennifer Bullick (Bill) and Becky Lammers (Keith). Also survived by great granddaughters Maddie Lammers and Julie Bullick. Lew is also survived by his brother Bev (Ruthanne). He is also remembered by sisters-in-law Helen Thornicroft (Evan) and Annabel Thornicroft (Glenn). Predeceased by his parents Clifford and Mary McGuire, sister Evelyn Barrie and infant brothers Douglas and William. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME LTD. 32 METCALFE ST., W. STRATHROY on Monday January 7, 2013 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm where a celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday January 8 , 2013 at 11:00 am with Rev. Karen Nelles officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of Lewis to St. John's Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
