Obituary of Delmar Douglas

At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Tuesday January 22, 2013. Delmar Louis Douglas of Brookside Retirement Living, Watford and formerly of RR#2 Strathroy in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Muriel Douglas ( Newbury) and dear father of Karen Moore (Larry) of London, Dan Douglas (Linda ) of Strathroy, Gloria Greene (Toby) of Thomasville , Georgia and Ted Douglas of St.Mary's. Delmar is also survived by his grandchildren Heather Leska (Erich), Vanessa Gosein (Mark McKenzie), Aaron Douglas (Natalia), Eden Douglas and Abigail Douglas and great grandchildren Esther and Daniel Jamieson, Arabella Leska and Brock McKenzie. Visitation will be held at DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME LTD., STRATHROY ON., on Thursday January 24, 2013 from 6 pm to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday January 25, 2013 at 11:00 am from Calvary Pentecostal Church , Pannell Lane West, Strathroy with Pastor Robert Esson officiating. Interment, Strathroy Cemetery. Donations in memory of Delmar to 100 Huntley St., Calvary Pentecostal Church or Strathroy Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Delmar.
