Obituary of Lorna McChesney

After a long courageous battle at home on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, Lorna McChesney ( Wilkins ) of Strathroy (formerly Adelaide Twp)., passed away in her 91st year. Lorna was the beloved War Bride of Donald McChesney and dear mother of Sandra Berdan (Richard), Janet Cadman (Guy), Tom McChesney (June) and Lynn McChesney (Vaughan). Lorna was a loving grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 8. Also survived by her brother Ronald (Yvonne) Wilkins of England. Lorna will be remembered as an adjuvant of 25 years at Strathmere Lodge. Visitation for family and friends will be held at DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME LTD., 32 Metcalfe St. W., STRATHROY on Sunday April 7, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Lorna to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Save the Children would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Lorna.
