Obituary of Bernice White

Peacefully, passed away with all of her Family by her side at Parkwood Hospital Palliative Unit on May 2, 2013 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Laverne Lewis "Curly". Dear mother of Rick (Linda), Dennis "Jerry" (Pauline), Lynda Irene (Kevin) and step-daughter Wendy. Sister of Freda (Gorden) Gilbert & Kearwood "Kip" & (Marie) White both of B.C. Predeceased by her brother Howard "Kip" White (Ollie), sister Leota McCann (Vince), brother Hilliard "Hilly" White, sister Joan Hunt (Herbie), husband Robert Thomas Moffatt and daughter Sylvia Anne Moffatt. Sister in Law of Doreen (Harley) Black and Mary (Grant) Lewis both of Strathroy. Proud grandmother of Tammy & Terry, Lee-Anne, Karrie, Troy & Leni, Michelle, Marsha & Danielle. Great great grandmother of Candice & Curtis, Kailey & Logan, Mitchell & Jake, & R.J. Bunny was born in Goderich & has spent most of her adult life in London with her husband Curly. Bunny served an honourable Career in the Military for many years. Bunny had a lengthy Career as a Dietician at West Minister Hospital (25+ yrs.), The London Jail & Beacon Secondary School, in London. Bunny also worked at the Beacon- Hill Lodge in Windsor for many years, where she took care of the Handicap with all her love, compassion & reassurance. Bunny loved children and enjoyed babysitting whenever possible, especially her Grandchildren. Bunny was very active in the community. Always up early to read the Newspaper and off she would go. Bunny enjoyed swimming and actively taking care of her health. Bunny Loved and will always love her family, friends & neighbours! The family would like to thank all the staff at Parkwood Hospital "Palliative Care Team" for all the care and support they gave "Bunny". Friends & Relatives are invited for a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy, Ontario at 2 PM. Visitation from 1 PM until 2 PM.
