Obituary of Joseph Kennes

Unexpectedly at home, on Saturday June 15, 2013, Joseph Francis Kennes of Denfield, passed away in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Helen (Hoogenboom) for 58 years. Loving father of Elizabeth Resmer (Merrill), Leon Kennes (Mary), Helen Vergeer (Bert), John Kennes (Kristine Ploug) and Kay Kennes (Dave Newman). Proud grandfather of Kelly, Kendra (Matt), Laura, Kyle, Jennifer, Ian, Max, Fiona, Sam and Marlon. Great-grandpa of Colton. Dearly missed by Gary the cat. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers at 6:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Father Lucio Couto officiating. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. In memory of Joe, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the SMGH Foundation. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Joseph.
