Obituary of Gladys Down

Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on July 6, 2013, Gladys Mae Down (Cutler), in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Down (1994). Cherished mother of Janet and David Partridge. Loving grandmother of Roblyn and Lara (fiancé Shaun Brennan). Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Mabel Cutler and siblings Jack, Ross and Lois. Gladys was a long time member of the First Baptist Church, Strathroy, and 20 year volunteer of the Ladies Auxiliary at Strathmere Lodge. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, from 12:30 until time of service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Dr. Brian McKenzie officiating. Interment in Friends Cemetery, Coldstream. In memory of Gladys, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the SMGH Foundation.
